Differentiation in practice

Course aims:

The aim of the course is to help teachers identify student needs and to differentiate approaches to teaching and learning so that students have the fullest possible access to curriculum.

By the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Observe students strategically to identify particular needs
  • Identify the most pressing needs within a particular classroom
  • Make short- and long-term plans to meet students’ particular needs
  • Use case studies to plan problem-solving collaboratively with colleagues 

Course structure:

 A series of 9 workshops, each 90 minutes in length.
